The International Snow Symposium recognized Salt Lake City International Airport with a first place award and Airport II in West Jordan with honorable mention for excellence in snow removal and ice control during the winter of 2002.
The short-term parking terrace is located directly west of the terminals and is connected to the main building via sky bridges; the lower level is for hourly parking only. Long-term car parking is located south and west of the terminal buildings and is served by a free shuttle service running to/from the terminals.
