Richmond International Airport is the busiest airport in central Virginia. Located seven miles southeast of Richmond, the capital of Virginia, and within an hour drive of Williamsburg and a two hour drive from Washington, D.C., the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Virginia Beach, Richmond International Airport is centrally located to many tourist destinations in Virginia.
A bank located in the main lobby on the ground floor offers full service banking including foreign currency exchange. There are several bars, cafes and restaurants throughout the airport. Shops are situated in the atrium area of the second level of the terminal building. Richmond International Airport has evolved into one of the most modern and well-equipped airports in the eastern United States. |
